Bert is Haystack’s cat, perennial employee-of-the-month, and unofficial mascot. Her R&D focus areas include studying why areas of carpet struck by sunlight seem cozier. She is the Haystack team’s youngest and oldest member, depending upon whether you believe cat years are a real thing.
